ABOUT US ACE Tutoring Services Inc. was founded in 1997 by a group of educators who believe in the effectiveness of 1-on-1 tutoring, and has helped improve the grades of thousands of students. We offer in-home private tutoring services to students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, as well as adults. Our philosophy is to help students of all ages achieve their academic goals, by providing tutors of the highest quality. ACE Tutoring is also approved by the Department of Education as a supplemental educational service provider. Our tutoring sessions are designed specifically according to individual student needs, so students can set their own convenient schedules. The length of tutoring sessions range from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student's need. Students can learn at their own pace. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (F.A.Q.) How do I get a tutor? You can find a tutor by clicking on the 'Find a tutor' link. You will be able to search for a tutor based on subject desired and location. Once you search for a tutor, we will provide you a list of tutors that are availabe in that area. You will be able to see each tutor's biography and choose the one that you like best. What is your cancellation policy? Please let the tutor know that you are cancelling at least 24 hours before the session takes place. How do we know your tutors are good? We are approved by the Department of Education as a supplemental educational service provider. Our tutors have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in the subject they tutor; some are credentialed school teachers and graduate school students working on Masters and Ph.D. degrees. When are the tutors available? Our tutors are available according to your schedules. The tutoring sessions can take place 7 days a week, at the specified time you choose. You choose the schedules you want, and ACE Tutoring will try to set up the tutoring session for you. What is your cancellation policy? All students must notify ACE Tutoring of any cancellation at least 24 hours before the tutoring session. Students/parents may be charged for any cancelled session without 24 hour notification.
